TRANSITIONING CHILDREN FROM PASSIVE VIDEO WATCHING TO ACTIVE VIDEO CREATING
This video is created by a 12-year-old, Yotam Tizazu. Concerned parents about their children spending too many hours a day watching too many videos approached me, seeking my educational advice. I came up with a project idea titled “Transitioning Children from Passive Video Watching to Active Video Creating” as a partial solution to the problem. I introduced Yotam to Adobe products including but not limited to Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects so that he can create videos and develop his creativity. This video is created for a Masters program that Dr. Nega runs at Marshall University in West Virginia.
Meet Sura Terefe: Sura is a 3rd-grade high achiever in math and language arts, as well as, a technology-savvy student going to 4th grade soon. He has researched and written a short paper on COVID 19. He has demonstrated a synopsis of his paper in an unedited online video presentation as follows.
