Welcome to Dr. Nega’s Education Center website!
Dr. Nega Education Center was founded in 2013 by Dr. Nega Worku Debela. Dr. Nega is the owner and founder of the Educational Center. Nega is a graduate of Addis Ababa University, with distinction, in Pedagogical Sciences. Nega has also earned a B.A. degree in Accounting from Asmara University. He has double Masters degrees in Education and Information Systems from Leeds University, UK; and Marshall University, USA, respectively. His Ph.D. in Sociology of Education is from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He has several years of experience in teaching in Australia, Ethiopia and the United States. He is also a Fulbright scholar. He is currently a professor at Marshall University Graduate College.

Our technology enhanced tutoring program provides unique service to its clients. We are not in the business of just assisting in homework or dispatching sequential homework packages to students. We use several software to back up our face to face academic scaffolding.
During the past four years, the center has helped a lot of K-12 students who sought help in math, reading and other subjects. Dr. Nega’s Education Center opened its doors on January 15, 2014 with 12 children; and now there are more than 100 students enrolled in the program.
We have created a test bank for children to access comprehension questions on popular children books. Once the kids read the books, they would take tests to check how much they have comprehended the contents of the books. We are also developing homework packages based on common core standards.

Dr. Nega Education Center has sponsored ethioeducation.com. This website provides free Amharic lessons for learners.
